The #ShoweredWithCare (“Contest”) is brought to you by NIVEA India Pvt. Ltd. (“Organizer”).
Contest is open to all Indian citizens residing in India above 18 years of age except the employees and the family members of the Organizer, its associate companies, its advertising and promotional agencies and their associate companies (“Users”).
A person/user submitting an entry in the contest will be deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of this contest. User/participants are therefore requested to read all the Terms before submitting an entry.
Contest is valid only in cities in India. The contest will commence from 11th May 2014 at 12 PM and will close on 13th May 2014 in the night at 11.59 PM hereafter referred to as “Contest Period”.
CONTEST PROCEDURE:The organiser will be putting up a few question/comments/posts/tweets on its Facebook webpage namely https://www.facebook.com/NIVEA.in or on its twitter account namely https://twitter.com/NIVEA_INDIA on the contest period. Users/Participants are required to comment/react and or answer to these questions/comments/posts/tweets by way of placing their posts and /or tweets to the said questions/comments/posts/tweets published by the organisers in the comments section below the post either on Twitter or on the Facebook web page of NIVEA in order to participate in the contest.
Time limit to answer the question is 36 hrs from the time the question is put up online.
The Users sending their entries after the Contest Period will not be eligible for the prize.
The winners will be selected by an independent panel of judges selected by NIVEA.
The judges will rate every entry basis on the following:(i) Originality of entry(ii) Creativity of entry
The Organizers will not be liable for any loss of data due to server issues and other technical faults that may come up in the real time monitoring of the tweets sent out by users during the Contest Period.
Winners will be announced within 3 days of the Contest period closure. The decision of the panel of judges shall be final and shall not be subject to challenge in any circumstances.
24 participants/users (Throughout the contest) with the best answers as per the panel of judges will win a NIVEA goodie bag each. NIVEA reserves the right to reduce the number of prizes should the Judges opine that they cannot find merit in entries or that entries do not deserve award of a prize or if the entries do not meet reasonable or satisfactory standards of originality and or creativity.
The contents of the prize being NIVEA Goodie Bag (given away as prize under the contest) may vary and shall be determined and selected at the discretion of the Organisers, and shall not be subject to any change or challenge by the participants/winners.
The Organisers shall endeavour to ship the
prize to the winner’s address provided by them within n 50-60 days after the deduction of results provided the winners have intimated to the organisers their address details, proof of identity, age, etc as required.
Once submitted, all rights in the Entry including intellectual Property Rights in the Entry will belong to NIVEA India Pvt. Ltd. and the participant/user will, by submitting an entry, be deemed to have transferred and relinquished all his/her rights in the entry in consideration of being permitted to participate in this Contest. NIVEA/Organiser retains the right to use the entry submitted in this contest in or as part of any of NIVEA’s advertisement materials without reference to the user/participant/s concerned and the user/participant/s will not be entitled to claim any payments for such use.
The winner will be contacted by the representatives of the Organizer on the contact details shared on the dashboard of the application at the time of registration. NIVEA shall endeavour to contact the winner at the given contact details for 2/3 times, the winner shall also be intimated by email ID. In case the winner is not reachable or the Prize cannot be redeemed by him for any reason whatsoever, the Organizer will reserve the right to pass on the Prize to another participant without any further notice to the winner.
The winners will be told about the process of redemption of the prize by the representative of the Organizer.
The winner will be required to furnish the complete name, address and phone number and such other information/details as may be asked by the Organizer representative.
The Organizers or their representatives will contact the winner at the contact number given by him and verify the claim before redeeming the prize. Award of prizes is subject to the verification by the Organizer.
After verification the winner will be informed of the entire process of redemption of the Prize.
Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of this contest for which the winners will be required to sign an indemnity in favor of Organizers.
Decision of Organizer’s will be final and binding with regard to promotion and prizes and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Notification of the winner status must be kept confidential until the Winners are publicly revealed by the Organizer or the winner’s prize will be forfeited.
At the Organizer's request, winners will be required to participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent the Organizer using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in promotional material or in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Programme (including any outcome and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Organizer.)
The Organizers reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and Indian residency at the time and place of prize delivery at the address provided by the winners/users. Verification decision of a valid identification and age proof shall be as per the satisfaction and at the discretion of the organiser.
The prizes are personal to the winners and are not transferable and cannot be sold under any circumstances.
Prizes will not be exchangeable for other products. No cash payment will be made in lieu of the prize.
The Organizers accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Winners will have to bear incidental costs, if any, that may arise for redemption of the prize.
Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of the Promotion or due to participation by any person in the Promotion.
Organizers shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to Act of God, Governmental actions, other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any such loss.
All taxes/levies and charges on prizes will be the responsibility of the winner. Taxes as applicable will be deducted at the source for all prizes or shall be deposited in advance by the winner and produce proof before claiming the prize.
The Organizers reserves the right to change/modify/or withdraw the Contest without any prior notice of the same at its sole discretion. The Organizer reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions without any prior notice.
All disputes relating to this Promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at Mumbai only.
